- A storm began when I walked out of Linens 'n Things.
- The curtains I bought from Linens 'n Things (pink and orange) are the shorter than my current curtains. I thought the other one was way too long, psh, and they were cheaper. Now they just mismatch.
- I gave into cookies. I always do well with eating a healthy breakfast and lunch, but then the afternoon comes and I crave sweets---chocolate to be exact. I think I'm more addicted to chocolate/sweets than Starbucks. Shocker there.
- I think it's going to storm all this week.
- The Vox meet-up is in Ohio. Ugh. Virginia is for lovers, folks. Come to Virginia Beach!
- My left eye is still red =/ Not as bad as yesterday, but still red. And it hurt on and off today. I took a test on the computer (got in at 1:00 and got out little past 5:00). My eyes are tired =/
- Roger Federer lost his Wimbledon 5-year streak. Ahh, nobody really is perfect. I wanted him to win. I really did. He's a favorite of mine.
Loved:
- My doodles this morning came out kind of cute.
- My bathroom is looking awesome. I bought a pink trashcan to match the new hand towel I bought from Target and the lights I hung bordering the mirror. I'm going to JCPenny's to get bathroom rugs. I'm thinking blue-green. Eeps! Jeff is going to like my totally girly bathroom >.<
- I watched Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants today. I love that movie. Srsly, friends help me live, you know? Like, I wouldn't be able to get through life without friends. All you girls have been more reliable than guys ever were to me.
- Jason Mraz - A Beautiful Mess.
- I'm going to watch Wall-E tomorrow.
- My favorite tree is in my neighborhood's front lawn.
- I'm going to paint my nails a sheer-pink color because mom said the blue made me look like a drug addict.
- Rafael Nadal won Wimbledon 2008! He broke Roger Federer's 5-year streak!
- Andy Roddick. Despite disappointments, I still love him. And despite his relationship with her.

Do you live in or around Cincinnati, Ohio? If so, you're in luck because Scott and the Queen City Voxers Group have organized a Vox user meetup!
WHERE: Ault Park Playground. 3600 Observatory Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45208. "We'll look for each other at the playground marked by the red X below. If it's raining, head for the shelter to the north of the [red] X."
To RSVP (which is not essential, but is appreciated), reply to Scott's announcement or send him a private message. All Voxers, as well as their friends and family, are welcome to attend.
If you do attend the meetup, have a great time and please take lots of pictures and send them to me so I can post them in Team Vox for everyone to see!
Thank you so much to Scott for organizing this meetup. Wish I could be there!

I've been getting caught up with online stuff. I uploaded some photos to flickr and such. It's been a nice sunny day today. :) Tomorrow I need to go to the post office to see about my filter. I wants it! We have the front room and kitchen partially unpacked. :) Woo! I had so much to say, but as soon as I started typing my mind went blank. Boo. Kai has today off. We're going to try to get the baby's room together so she can start hopefully sleeping in there.
I found this cute blue/white/brown polka dot shelf liner at Target the other day. So I've been lining the kitchen drawers with it since they were totally unlined and icky. I'm gonna tackle the cabinets soon. I can't wait til things settle down so we can go to the zoo and the coast. I miss the water and the sand and everything! I wish the water on this coast was as nice as it was in Florida.
Speaking of the coast have you seen Wilmington real estate? It's preeettty!

Teresa is giving away two 8oz soy candles by Jess, over at her personal blog. She can ship anywhere, so everyone is encouraged to participate.
Sigh. I don't know how many of you all still use Vox, but I miss you guys. Anyway, I had a fun 4th watching fireworks.
I love fireworks. It rained right after the fireworks ended and I was stranded at a local 7-11 standing around with a bunch of ignorant teenagers talking shit and trying to steal stuff. Lame. Srsly. I hated high school kids when I was in high school, and things haven't changed. /end rant.
